Legal document · Hivetide
Hivetide ("the game") is developed by Filipe Tessaro. The game does not collect data about you. There is no account, login, ads, analytics or third-party SDK gathering information.
Everything the game stores stays on your computer and is not sent to us.
Campaign progress (phases won, biomass, upgrades bought and tower positions in each phase) and preferences (music, effects and ambience volume, and language).
This data lives in the game's data folder under your user profile, created by the game itself.
Name, email, phone, contacts, location, advertising identifiers, files on your computer or any other personal information.
The game does not connect to servers while you play; the only exception is opening these pages in your browser when you click the links in Settings.
In the version distributed on Steam, the purchase, achievements and cloud saves (if enabled) go through Steam, by Valve Corporation, and follow Valve's privacy policy. We do not receive your payment or Steam account data.
The game has stylized combat against alien insects, with no human gore. Since nothing is collected, there is no children's data to protect.
On the title screen, click "New game" twice: progress is erased and the campaign restarts. Or uninstall the game. If you use Steam Cloud, turn it off in the game's properties on Steam first.
Since nothing is sent to us, there is nothing to request deletion of anywhere else, which is why the game has no account-deletion page.
If any feature that sends data is added, this page is updated before that version ships, stating exactly what starts being sent.
The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.
